FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE EARNS FIRST “MEANT TO BE” GRAMMY NOMINATION

Global superstar duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE have earned their first GRAMMY nomination for their history-making “Meant to Be” collaboration with BEBE REXHA in the prized Best Country Duo/Group Performance category. The 61st GRAMMY Awards air live from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA, on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on February 10.
"This is the biggest nod-of-a-hat nomination that we've had so far," FGL's Brian Kelley shared with The Tennessean. "It feels like hard work paid off. We've wanted to be a part of Grammy night for a long time. To be invited, it's really, really special."

"'Meant to Be' is just undeniable," added FGL's Tyler Hubbard. "It's the longest-reigning No. 1 chart-topping hit of all time. It feels really good to have this acceptance and know that we can show up and talk about how we love doing what we do."

Billboard’s Trailblazer Award recipients reign the year-end Top Country Artists – Duo/Group title for a third year, with “Meant to Be” at #1 on the Hot Country Songs tally plus Top 5 on all-genre Hot 100 Songs.

Released to both Pop and Country radio under Warner Bros. Records and BMLG Records, the 4X PLATINUM-certified, monster smash has surpassed 1 billion total streams worldwide and holds the Billboard Hot Country Songs record for leading 50 weeks straight, an incomparable domination since the chart launched in 1958. “It's a completely unprecedented accomplishment that will likely never be beaten,” predicts Forbes. They are also the only Country act to claim 106 cumulative weeks at #1 – including six total Hot Country Songs toppers: “Cruise”; “Stay”; “This Is How We Roll”; “Dirt”; “H.O.L.Y.”; “Meant to Be” – since their 2012 breakout. Penned by Hubbard, Rexha, Josh Miller, and David Garcia, “Meant to Be” notched their first #1 debut on Hot Country Songs plus secured Rexha as the first solo female to snag the title.

FGL’s brand new steamy single “Talk You Out of It” is burning up the airwaves, as the latest teaser off their much-anticipated fourth studio album on BMLG Records. Tonight, they’ll bring this song and more to Sin City, as their FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS residency continues at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino through December 11. Tree Vibez Music singer-songwriter CANAAN SMITH and 12-year-old rising star MASON RAMSEY kick-start the anything-goes party each night, with additional ticket details here.
