DYLAN SCOTT LAUNCHES BAYOU STOCK COUNTRY FESTIVAL WITH HEADLINING SET

Chart-topping Curb Records star DYLAN SCOTTstepped up for his hometown community on Saturday (11/17), headlining a full day of Country fun to benefit local kids in need with the inaugural BAYOU STOCK Country music festival in Sterlington, Louisiana.

A native of nearby Bastrop, Scott launched BAYOU STOCK as an all-ages day filled with music, food trucks, tailgating and more to support the children of Northeast Louisiana. With a lineup that included Scott, Mark Chesnutt, Morgan Evans, Lainey Wilson and more, BAYOU STOCK drew upwards of 4,000 fans – making it one of the largest festivals to hit the area in over 10 years.

In an exclusive interview with the Associated Press, Scott shared that proceeds from the festival will be used to buy Christmas gifts for local kids in need. He and his wife, Blair, contacted schools in the area to find out which families could use the most help, and plan to buy each gift personally.

On Friday (11/16) Scott unleashed his next single, the propulsive party anthem “Nothing To Do Town.” Written by Scott with John Taylor and Matt Alderman, the rocking Friday night anthem is all about making your own good time – no matter where you are – and is now available for streaming on all digital providers. To date, the hitmaker has racked up more than 520 million career streams, and is coming off his Top 5 radio smash – the GOLD-certified “Hooked” – and the PLATINUM-certified success of his breakout #1 hit “My Girl.”

Scott will keep the hammer down after the holidays, headlining the NOTHING TO DO TOWN TOUR with special guest Seth Ennis as 2019 gets underway. Featuring nineteen dates across the eastern portion of the United States, the run kicks off January 17 in New York City and will also visit markets like Cincinnati, OH; Detroit, MI; Minneapolis, MN; Nashville, TN; and Orlando, FL before wrapping on February 23 in Charlotte, NC.

ABOUT DYLAN SCOTT:
A Louisiana native with a lifelong passion for Country music, Dylan Scott is the total package – a powerful singer with a deep, resonating drawl; an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit; a heartthrob with an easy smile; and a dreamer who followed his father's footsteps to Nashville. Prior to landing his record deal, Scott learned the basics of singing and playing guitar from his dad – a former guitar player for Country legends Freddy Fender and Freddie Hart. Dylan launched onto the Country music scene with “Making This Boy Go Crazy,” the debut single from his self-titled EP. His follow-up, the infectious “Crazy Over Me,” debuted at #14 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart and hit the Top 40 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. Scott's debut album for Curb Records, DYLAN SCOTT, landed in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart, and its romantic standout RIAA PLATINUM-certified single, “My Girl,” became his FIRST CAREER #1 at Country radio. Continuing the momentum, his latest single, "Hooked," has been streamed nearly 100 million times and certified GOLD. Fans have streamed Scott’s songs an impressive 520 million times and counting, and sales have topped 4 million song equivalent sales – figures that continue to grow by leaps and bounds. Dylan's headlining NOTHING TO DO TOWN TOUR kicks off January 17, 2019 in New York City.
