KELSEA BALLERINI CLAIMS LA MOMENT AT THE STAPLES CENTER WITH KEITH URBAN

Having made her mark at the Troubadour, The Wiltern, and Hollywood Bowl, Black River Entertainment’s KELSEA BALLERINI reached another milestone in California, performing at a bucket list venue, Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center, while supporting KEITH URBAN’s GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR on Saturday (10/6).

Ballerini added her red-hot collaboration “This Feeling” (with The Chainsmokers) – deemed “built for mass singalongs” by Rolling Stone – to her setlist full of UNAPOLOGETICALLY (Deluxe Edition) tracks including her tender rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.” As spotted on Rolling Stone’s “10 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Week,” she also brought her brand new anthemic single, “Miss Me More,” to the famed stage.

Tossing in an extra dose of girl power, she welcomed surprise guest BEBE REXHA to the mix, as they performed the multi-platinum singer-songwriter’s current hit “I’m a Mess” together. “This woman is a songwriter, an artist, a business woman, an encourager, and a friend,” Ballerini later shared on Instagram

Next up, Ballerini will be a featured presenter at the all-genre 2018 American Music Awards tomorrow night (airing live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET), as she’s nominated for the Favorite Female Artist – Countrycategory. She’ll then head back to Nashville, where she’ll be honored during the all-female celebration at this year’s CMT Artists of the Year next Wednesday (10/17). Ballerini will also perform with ALISON KRAUSS for the first time during the special (airing live on CMT at 8 p.m. ET/PT).

The 10-part companion series of NBC’s The Voice, the Comeback Stage, continues this week with Ballerini serving as the fifth coach mentoring six Comeback Artists not chosen during Blind Auditions. Each episode following their fight for a Top 13 slot can be viewed directly after the airing of the music competition on multiple digital platforms: YouTube, The Voice Official App, Instagram TV, Facebook and NBC.com

Continuing the GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR through November 3 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, Ballerini is also vying for Female Vocalist of the Year this fall at The 52nd Annual CMA Awards (airing live on ABC at 8/7c p.m. on November 14). She’ll return to the road this winter for KELLY CLARKSON’s MEANING OF LIFE TOUR, beginning January 24 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA.
