Warner Music Nashville and Sweety High Country sensation TEGAN MARIE will be featured on CMT Hot 20 Countdown this weekend (9/15 & 9/16), as the long-running show goes behind the scenes of her Elvis-inspired video for “I Know How To Make A Boy Cry.”

Watch an exclusive Tegan Marie CMT Hot 20 Countdown teaser here.

The liberating video made its world premiere on CMT earlier this summer, and has now been viewed more than 1.8 MILLION times on YouTube. It serves as a tip of the hat to Elvis Presley’s iconic '68 Comeback Special, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Tegan Marie used that famous footage as inspiration, flipping the script on an artist who made girls weep everywhere he went. Now it’s her turn to make the boys cry.

The video was shot in Nashville and CMT Hot 20 Countdown was there for every minute, so fans of Tegan Marie and the show will get an up-close-and-personal look at this 14-year-old Country breakout – who in 2017 became the youngest female artist to sign with a major Country label in over 45 years.

Meanwhile, a stunning solo performance of “I Know How To Make A Boy Cry” – with Tegan Marie on keys and filmed onboard Disney Cruise Line  –  premiered on the Disney Channel Wednesday (9/12), and is now playing across Radio Disney and Radio Disney Country’s social verticals.

Currently finishing up her first headlining tour, Tegan Marie is continuing to progress as she works on new music with producers Scott Hendricks (Blake Shelton) and Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift), and will close out this year’s season of Warner Music Nashville’s Pickin’ On the Patio concert series September 19.
