Today marks the release of Chris & Preston — the highly awaited new album from PLATINUM-selling duo LOCASH. Out now via Galaxy Label Group (their own independent record label), the 12-song LP finds singer/songwriters Preston Brust and Chris Lucas revealing the real lives and shared history behind one of Country’s most unstoppable pairings. Go here to listen to Chris & Preston now.
“Couldn’t be more excited and blessed to be releasing another album on our own label!” says Lucas. “Excited for fans and friends to take the journey this album takes you on and get to know who we are.”
A particularly personal statement from the chart-topping duo, Chris & Preston is the culmination of more than two decades of making music together. While working at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon in the early 2000s, Brust and Lucas started collaborating on songs and soon began booking shows in bars around town, building a grassroots following for their exhilarating brand of Country. Bound by an unshakeable belief in each other, the two persevered through a series of setbacks before achieving a major breakthrough with their PLATINUM-certified smash “I Love This Life.” With their new album, LOCASH dig deep into the values and shared passions that have long fueled their formidable partnership, including hometown pride, the bonds of love and family, and a fierce commitment to forging their own path.
The much-anticipated follow-up to their 2025 album Bet The Farm (featuring their MULTI-WEEK No. 1 "Hometown Home"), Chris & Preston brings LOCASH’s anthemic hooks and down-to-earth storytelling to standouts like their blissed-out new song “Where My Stars Line Up,” current chart-rising Country radio hit “Talkin Bout,” and endless-summer party song “Let The Country Music Play.” In addition to co-writing alongside heavy-hitters like Country superstars Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell, the duo joined forces with leading producers including Blake Bollinger (Rodney Atkins, Brett Eldredge), Ben Johnson (Jelly Roll, HARDY), and Jacob Rice (Conner Smith, Jon Langston), amplifying the infectious energy of their signature feel-good sound. Reinforcing their status as independent trailblazers, Chris & Preston marks LOCASH’s second album release via Galaxy Label Group — the record label Brust and Lucas launched in 2024 to take greater control of their music while championing emerging talent. In a powerful testament to the label’s success, the duo earned the Independent Artist of the Year prize at the 2026 MusicRow CountryBreakout Awards, thanks in part to the strong showing of “Hometown Home” and “Wrong Hearts” (another highlight from Bet The Farm, their inaugural release via Galaxy Label Group).
Tomorrow (10/24), LOCASH take the stage at PAWSapalooza at The Midland Theatre in Kansas City, MO, for the latest stop on their recently launched LET THE COUNTRY MUSIC PLAY TOUR. With tour dates currently scheduled through December 12 in Hollywood, FL, the North American headline run will next stop at Pensacola Interstate Fair in Florida on October 30.
