Continuing a monumental run on Friday (10/2), Sandlot/Atlantic Outpost’s Country riser Stella Lefty celebrated sending her blockbuster smash “Boston” to the top spot on Country radio with a No. 1 party hosted by ASCAP at Creative Artists Agency’s Nashville headquarters, honoring co-writers Lefty (ASCAP), Grace Enger (BMI), Jacob “JKash” Hindlin (ASCAP), Noah Kahan (ASCAP) and Joe Reeves (BMI), who also produced the smash hit. During the celebration, Billboard and Country Aircheck presented Lefty with plaques commemorating the song’s chart-dominating success.
“To Country radio, I’ve loved you guys my whole entire life. You raised me, so thank you for playing my song, because I just could have never imagined that any of this would happen,” shared Lefty. “To have a No. 1 song is a very crazy feeling. I’ve dreamed of this my whole life, and I love Country music more than anything in the whole world. To be part of this community, I feel so grateful and so honored.”

The No. 1 party capped off a whirlwind week for Lefty, who took the stage at Nashville’s legendary The Bluebird Cafe on Thursday night (10/1) for an intimate in-the-round performance alongside a buzzing trio of singer/songwriters: Grace Enger (a frequent collaborator of Lefty’s and an ascending artist who’s toured with Maisie Peters, Laufey, and Dermot Kennedy), Vincent Mason (a 2026 ACM Award nominee for New Male Artist of the Year), and Jack Rauton (an up-and-comer who’s co-written songs for the likes of Kameron Marlowe and Gavin Adcock). The Tennessean raved, “Lefty's honeyed, feel-good vocals had audience members of all ages singing along and smiling.”

“Boston” first shot to No. 1 on both the Country Aircheck/Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts in late September, just 22 weeks after impacting radio — emerging as the third-fastest debut single by a solo female Country artist to climb to No. 1 in the Mediabase era. With its second consecutive week at the summit of the Billboard Country Airplay chart, “Boston” now places Lefty in even more select company as the first solo-billed female whose debut single has spent more than one week at No. 1 since Gretchen Wilson’s “Redneck Woman” (2004), and one of only six solo-billed females ever to hold a debut No. 1 atop Country Airplay for multiple weeks. To that end, the song’s two-week command of the top spot has “Boston” currently tied with Deana Carter’s “Strawberry Wine” and Trisha Yearwood’s “She’s In Love With The Boy” for the fourth-longest stay among that elite group of solo-billed females.
With over 557 million global streams to date, “Boston” appears on Lefty’s debut album Long Way Home, which bowed at No. 1 on Spotify’s Top Albums Global and USA Charts. Released in August via Sandlot/Atlantic Outpost, the LP also features standouts like current single “Something To Lose” with Vincent Mason — a heart-on-sleeve duet that reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, where “Boston” recently hit No. 2.
After making her Austin City Limits debut on Sunday (10/4), Lefty will head to Australia for Strummingbird Festival (10/10, 10/17, 10/18). A charismatic live performer who’s shared bills with Mumford & Sons, Cameron Whitcomb, Wyatt Flores, and more, she’s also gearing up to launch her debut headline tour — a SOLD-OUT North American run with stops in major cities like Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Boston, Nashville, and Chicago.
