After setting off a pink flurry of anticipation over the past week, Country Thunder — the largest Country music festival brand in North America — is making it official: MULTI-PLATINUM superstar Megan Moroney will headline Country Thunder Arizona on Sunday, April 11 and Country Thunder Saskatchewan on Sunday, July 11 in 2027. Country’s reigning It Girl will take over the Main Stage at both festivals, with Country Thunder Arizona returning to its longtime home of AZ Talio Ranch in Florence, AZ, from April 8-11, and Country Thunder Saskatchewan taking place in Craven from July 8-11. Moroney’s newly announced Country Thunder dates mark the latest major moment in a blockbuster stretch for the record-breaking Georgia-bred artist, whose third studio album Cloud 9 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year and delivered radio-ruling hits like the PLATINUM-certified No. 1 smash “6 Months Later.” In the lead-up to today’s reveal, Country Thunder dropped a trail of Cloud 9-coded clues, blanketing billboards in pink and turning its website and social media channels the signature color of Moroney’s widely celebrated album.
