Rising artist, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Katlin Owen has signed a new joint-venture publishing agreement between Song Hunter Publishing and Warner Chappell Music. The deal  extends Owen’s deep-rooted creative relationship with Song Hunter, an artist-driven company founded by RIAA DIAMOND-selling superstar Brian Kelley.

“I’ve watched Katlin put in the work on the road and in the studio, and I’ve seen his songwriting grow every step of the way,” said Kelley. “I've always believed in supporting your tribe and giving talented people opportunities when you know they’ve earned them, and I’m fired up to keep pushing forward with Katlin through this new partnership with Warner Chappell.”

Marking the start of a dynamic new chapter for Song Hunter, Owen’s joint-venture agreement builds on his longstanding publishing deal with the company — an enterprise quietly launched by Kelley in 2021 as a home for his own catalog and a vehicle for developing emerging talent. In 2024, Owen became Song Hunter’s first outside songwriter, expanding the wide-ranging collaboration that he and Kelley have forged through the years.

A multidimensional creative force, Owen has earned credits as a guitarist, vocalist, producer, and songwriter on projects by major acts like Florida Georgia Line, Jon Pardi, Riley Green, Chris Young, and many more. Alongside his extensive studio work, Owen has co-written several songs with Kelley — including fan favorites “Teal,” “Quality Of Life,” “King Ranch,” and “My Kind Of Country” — and also produces, plays, and sings across Kelley’s records.

Raised in Liberty, South Carolina, Owen instills all his music with the same honesty and character that shaped his upbringing. Also the flagship artist signed to Nashville South Records (an artist-first label established by Kelley in 2021), he’s revealed the depth of his artistry through a steadily growing catalog of songs, including “Speed of a Tractor,” “Just a Hat,” and, most recently, “So Many” (a poignant and powerful track that premiered in June 2026).
