LOCASH’S “TALKIN BOUT” HITS COUNTRY RADIO AS #1 MOST ADDED SINGLE

Riding high through a summer of major wins, PLATINUM-selling duo LOCASH are taking their new single “Talkin Bout” to Country radio today. A fan-favorite standout from their recently released EP Let The Country Music Play, the freewheeling but sincere love song officially impacted the airwaves as the most added single, with 69 first-week stations on board nationwide.

As “Talkin Bout” catches fire at Country radio, LOCASH have launched an anything-goes social series called “Talkin Bout with LOCASH.” In each episode, singer/songwriters Preston Brust and Chris Lucas team up to shoot the breeze on everything from conspiracy theories and the music industry to dad life and sports. Showcasing the duo’s effortless chemistry and charisma, the series premiered last month with an episode spotlighting Nate Kenyon and Blake Bollinger — the co-writers who helped bring “Talkin Bout” to life. Check it out here.

Built on LOCASH’s irresistible hooks and heartfelt storytelling, “Talkin Bout” pays tribute to a love that changes how you experience the world. After opening with a catchy roll call of the things closest to their heart (e.g., the Atlanta Braves, George Strait, cold beer, dirt roads), the sweetly soulful track reveals what matters most of all: the women at the center of their lives (from the chorus: “Everywhere I go, baby, everything I do / If I’m talking bout a girl, I’m talking bout you”).

The latest in a long line of Country radio triumphs for LOCASH — including the two-week No. 1 hit "Hometown Home," (Country Aircheck/Mediabase’s No. 4 Overall Song of 2025), the PLATINUM-certified Billboard Hot 100 breakthrough “I Love This Life, and GOLD-certified No. 1 smash “I Know Somebody” — “Talkin Bout” fully embodies the feel-good energy at the core of Let The Country Music Play. Released via LOCASH’s own Galaxy Label Group earlier this month, the five-song project quickly made waves with outlets like Country Swag and Entertainment Focus (with the latter praising the EP as “music built for rolled-down windows, festival crowds and late summer evenings” and a “confident celebration of everything that has made them successful”).

Fresh off their recent appearances at hot-ticket summer festivals like OC Smoke Show, LOCASH will resume their LET THE COUNTRY MUSIC PLAY TOUR next week at Country Splash Cabo, taking place on September 5 in San José del Cabo, Mexico. As the duo continue their extensive North American headline run, they’ll also make their way to the Hilton Head Island Jam Songwriter Festival in mid-September, where they’ll once again host the LOCASH Golf Bash on the fairways of Atlantic Dunes at Sea Pines Resort (with proceeds benefiting Lowcountry charities and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation).
