Written by Adkins, Krista Marie, and Johnny Cummings, “American Made” brings Adkins’ trademark baritone to an impassioned piece of storytelling, paying homage to the countless laborers, farmers, and veterans whose tireless work made the American dream possible. With its potent backdrop of blazing guitar work, battlefield snare rolls, and stately piano lines, the deeply felt track centers on a reverent outpouring of gratitude for the people who formed the backbone of America. Produced by Mickey Jack Cones and made with premier session players like keyboardist Jim “Moose” Brown and guitarist Jeff King, “American Made” ultimately serves as a rousing call to honor the sacrifices of our forebears by carrying their legacy forward.
