Once again, Country Thunder Wisconsin will descend upon Shadow Hill Ranch in Twin Lakes, WI, on July 16-19 for its 30th year. As always, it features a powerhouse lineup of Country’s best, boldest, and brightest talent. Given the star power, excitement, and anticipation from fans everywhere, it’s no wonder Milwaukee Journal Sentinel named the festival among “10 of the top summer music festivals to check out in Wisconsin in 2026.” It promises to be one of the most unforgettable years yet.
Imagine “Summer Camp” for Country music fans with must-see performances from headliners Gavin Adcock, Riley Green, Keith Urban, and The Red Clay Strays plus Gretchen Wilson, Ian Munsick, Nate Smith, and Shaboozey all set against the scenic backdrop of a classic Midwestern retreat. By day, the festival showcases a lineup including George Birge, Mark Chesnutt, Dasha, Corey Kent, Gabriella Rose, Mae Estes and more.
Country Thunder Wisconsin is celebrated as much for its camping as for its music. Options include Tent Camping, Crown Camping, Glamping, and more. For ultimate convenience, campers can even reserve private port-a-potties for their site. You must have a weekend wristband to enter the campgrounds. After a standout 2025, Country Thunder Wisconsin has kicked things up another notch. Last year, the festival celebrated a milestone by naming Hailey Rovetuso its “One Millionth Fan,” awarding her a once-in-a-lifetime prize pack. The weekend drew widespread praise from MusicRow and other outlets, highlighting the festival. InsideHook raved “Country Thunder has been Country strong for three decades, but 2025 felt especially electric,” Holler. called it “another classic,” and ABC7 Chicago marveled at the “high-energy performances, big-name artists and unforgettable fan experiences.”
As festival season picks up steam, Country Thunder Alberta is set to kick things off June 26 to 28 in Calgary, followed by Country Thunder Saskatchewan July 9 to 12 in Craven, before Country Thunder Wisconsin takes over the midwest skies.
