Written by Conrique, Sam Mackenzie Ellis, and Lydia Sutherland, “A Little Like You” arrives as the follow-up to “Polaroid” — a confessional ballad about the self-doubt she experienced upon moving to Nashville after years of living in Los Angeles. In contrast to the song’s vulnerability, “A Little Like You” fully captures the quiet yet powerful joy of finding a partner who lives up to the man who taught you what love should be.
