ALANA SPRINGSTEEN MAKES BUCKET LIST DEBUT AT BRIDGESTONE ARENA IN NASHVILLE

Artist-songwriter Alana Springsteen topped off her summer run as support on Keith Urban’s HIGH AND ALIVE WORLD TOUR with a bucket list slot at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, this past Friday (10/17). First learning to play guitar by mimicking Urban’s riffs at 7 years old, and then relocating to town at 14 to catapult her career, this marked a dream-come-true performance for PEOPLE's “Rising Superstar” just hours before her 25th birthday.

“My parents moved our whole family to Nashville when I was 14 to help me chase this dream of becoming a singer-songwriter. I walked into writing rooms carrying a guitar twice my size with songwriters three times my age, and for the first time, felt truly understood. Nashville is my home, so I’ve naturally spent the last 10 years watching my heroes perform on the Bridgestone Arena stage. It’s a dream that has played on loop in my head for as long as I can remember,” shares Springsteen. “I will never forget how a sea of phone lights lit up the room during ‘same God’ or how time seemed to stand still with Keith during our performance of ‘Landslide.’ Words will never be enough, so I’ll just say thank you – for listening and making space for me. It’s all I’ve ever hoped for.”

Currently in the studio working on the much-anticipated follow-up to her acclaimed three-part debut TWENTY SOMETHING, Springsteen’s set spanned album fan-favorites including GOLD hit (and Mitchell Tenpenny collaboration) “goodbye looks good on you,” with unreleased stunners like “same God” – which was welcomed by the sold-out audience (in addition to her parents) lighting up the arena with their cell phone lights. Watch here.

Reprising her pop-up surprise at the beginning of the year when Springsteen joined Urban onstage as a guest vocalist for “GO HOME W U” during CBS’ “NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE’S BIG BASH,” he again invited her out for a special cover of “Landslide.” Sharing a video of the duet on Instagram, Springsteen adds, “sometimes dreams come true” – watch here.

Further cementing her status as a globally demanded artist, Springsteen’s upcoming tour itinerary brings her electrifying live show to Switzerland, U.K., and beyond. Find more information at www.alanaspringsteen.com.
