Last night in Nashville, Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records singer/songwriter Megan Moroney hosted a blowout bash to celebrate sending her PLATINUM-certified single “Am I Okay?” to No. 1 on Country radio. The latest landmark event in a full-throttle summer for Moroney, the party took place at The Emo Cowgirl — the Country superstar’s very own pop-up bar at The Westin Nashville’s L27 Rooftop Lounge.
Written by Moroney (SESAC), Luke Laird (GMR), and Jessie Jo Dillon (BMI) and produced by Kristian Bush (BMI), the now Best Country MTV VMA-nominated “Am I Okay?” serves as the title track to Moroney’s massively acclaimed sophomore album — a 2024 LP that reigned as the year’s third-biggest debut from a female Country artist. Featured on Billboard’s “50 Best Songs of 2025 So Far (Staff Picks)” list in June, the heart-stopping anthem is Moroney’s second single to reach No. 1 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart, following the breakout success of her now 4X PLATINUM-certified hit “Tennessee Orange.”

Hosted by SESAC, Moroney’s “Am I Okay?” celebration is the most recent high-profile soiree held at The Emo Cowgirl, where she previously held a fan watch party for her new song “6 Months Later” — a June release that immediately shot to No. 30 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, marking her biggest chart debut to date. First launched in June and curated by Moroney herself, the full-venue transformation features signature cocktails (including the Am I Okay?, a citrusy blend of Bacardi, lemon, and blueberry) and runs through August 31. As “6 Months Later” continues to heat up the charts (including landing in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs), Moroney has spent the summer dazzling audiences all over the country on her history-making AM I OKAY? TOUR. To that end, her July 26 stop at Wyoming’s Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo shattered the record for number of tickets sold for a female artist, with over 20,400 fans in attendance. With dates scheduled through October 12 at the Texas Trust CU Theatre in Dallas, the 50-date headline run will soon find Moroney taking the stage at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado (September 30) before moving on to a two-night stand at legendary The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles (October 2 and 3).
