KICK OFF HUGELY ANTICIPATED LAST SUMMER ON EARTH 2025 TOUR

Last Tuesday in Atlanta, MULTI-PLATINUM-selling Rock legends Barenaked Ladies kicked off their wildly anticipated Last Summer On Earth 2025 Tour — a 38-city headline run including stops in major cities all across North America. The eighth edition of the iconic tour will find Barenaked Ladies performing to massive crowds at top-tier venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado (6/17), The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles (6/22), The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City (7/9), Budweiser Stage in Toronto (7/25), and many more. See below for the tour itinerary.

For the opening night of the Last Summer On Earth 2025 Tour, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated band took the stage at Atlanta’s Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park and tore through a setlist loaded with classic mega-hits including their No. 1 smash “One Week,” Top 20 singles “Pinch Me” and “If I Had $1,000,000,” and “Big Bang Theory Theme.” Leading off with “Gonna Walk” (a standout from their Billboard 200 Top 10 LP Grinning Streak), the show also featured fan favorites like “Brian Wilson” and crowd-thrilling surprises such as a covers medley ranging from Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” to Dan Hill’s Soft-Rock ballad "Sometimes When We Touch.” After closing out the initial set with a fiery rendition of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell,” Barenaked Ladies returned for an encore performance of “Lovin' Life” from their acclaimed 2023 album In FlightCheck out the ‘behind the scenes’ video the band shared on socials here, and their recap from the kickoff in Atlanta here

With stops at Florida’s St. Augustine Amphitheatre (6/4), South Carolina’s North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center (6/6), North Carolina’s Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre (6/7), and Baltimore’s Pier Six Pavilion (6/8) already under their belt, Barenaked Ladies will continue the Last Summer On Earth 2025 Tour tonight at PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati. Wrapping up on August 2 at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI, the tour also includes a hometown show at Budweiser Stage in Toronto on July 25.

With Alt-Rock heavy-hitters Fastball joining as support on all dates, the Last Summer On Earth 2025 Tour will feature Guster until the June 28 stop at Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, OR. Beginning on July 8 at the historic Tanglewood in Lenox, MA, Sugar Ray will hop on the lineup until the tour’s end. Go here for more info on the Last Summer On Earth 2025 Tour and to purchase tickets and limited VIP Packages.

Known for an unstoppably fun live show that draws fans of all ages, Barenaked Ladies recently graced the May/June print issue of American Songwriter. In addition to discussing their newly released EP In Flight – Carry On (a seven-song project comprised of stripped-down updates of fan-beloved songs from In Flight), the eight-time JUNO winners opened up about the good-natured irreverence that makes their live set so unforgettable. “Every show is filled with improv and spontaneity,” said frontman Ed Robertson. “We make up songs, and we talk about what we did that day, and sometimes it turns into songs, sometimes it’s just stories, whatever. We’ve always been a band that is not afraid to fail on stage, so that every show is a completely new experience. Sometimes the train wrecks in a hilarious way, and we go back to the dressing room, and we’ve got tears in our eyes laughing at how stupid something was in the show. I think of our band as what it’s supposed to be like. It’s fun. It’s a group of guys enjoying entertaining people. For some reason, other bands lose sight of that. But we never have.”
