Last week, he dropped the song “That Someday” (Verge Records) to accompany his role as “Big Buck” in the new action film, Day of Reckoning — in theaters now. Adkins personally penned the song with frequent collaborator and co-writer Casey Beathard (Eric Church, George Strait, Kenny Chesney), while Mickey Jack Cones (Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan) produced the track. Produced by Lionsgate, it serves as the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster hit I Can Only Imagine. Adkins will reprise his role as "Scott Brickell." He wrapped up his run on Blake Shelton’s Friends & Heroes Tour in front of a packed crowd in State College, PA (3/22).
