In yet another milestone for one of Country’s brightest young stars, Moroney lit up the Tonight Show stage in a white sequined Bronx and Banco dress paired with Miron Crosby boots and delivered a deeply powerful rendition of “No Caller ID” — one of the first tracks released from her forthcoming sophomore album Am I Okay? (due out July 12, pre-save/pre-add here). Infusing every line with a breathtaking intimacy, the Emo Cowgirl performed the post-breakup ballad against the backdrop of a beautifully designed video wall depicting a cityscape of apartment buildings, the lights of each unit turning off and on throughout the song and adding another layer to its heavy-hearted mood.
Written by Moroney, Jessi Alexander, Connie Harrington, and Jessie Jo Dillon, “No Caller ID” brings Moroney’s straight-from-the-heart songwriting to the story of getting a late-night call from an ex just when she’s started to move on with her life. After premiering in January, “No Caller ID” set the record for the biggest Country female song debut in streams in the U.S., amassing 8.4 MILLION global streams in its first week alone.
This Friday (June 7), Moroney will share the latest song from Am I Okay? — a fiery and fun-loving anthem called “Man on the Moon.” In addition to “No Caller ID” and “Man on the Moon,” the hugely anticipated follow-up to her blockbuster debut album Lucky will also feature previously released fan favorites like “28th of June” and “Indifferent.”
Tomorrow night in Ohio, Moroney will continue her run as support for Kenny Chesney’s SUN GOES DOWN 2024 TOUR. As she gets set to perform at major summer festivals like Lollapalooza, Moroney will also take the stage at Nissan Stadium and the Chevy Riverfront Stage as part of CMA Fest 2024.
