CHRIS LANE ENLISTS FANS TO BOOK FIND ANOTHER BAR TOUR: COLLEGE EDITION

Red Street Records/Voyager Records MULTI-PLATINUM artist Chris Lane is shaking things up with a new tour concept, enlisting fans to help book a series of up close and personal concerts this spring.

Building on the success of his new single “Find Another Bar,” the Country star’s wild idea started as an urge to do something different. Reaching out to fans on social media last week, he ended up asking which college towns he should visit – and after a massive wave of suggestions poured in, the result is the first leg of his FIND ANOTHER BAR TOUR: COLLEGE EDITION

“I’ve been putting a lot of thought into something, and I’m tired of thinking about it. I think I just want to put it into action. Here’s what I’ve been thinking about: I want to come to college towns all over the country, and I want to play at y’all's favorite bars,” said the hitmaker in a video on Instagram. “My main question for y’all is, where should I come play?”

Now, Lane’s fans have helped plan a series of unique performances in vibrant college towns, where they can get a down-to-earth experience with the high-flying singer-songwriter – a nod to his early days as an artist.

Kicking off April 4 in Fayetteville, AR (University of Arkansas), the first weekend of FIND ANOTHER BAR TOUR: COLLEGE EDITION shows will also feature stops in Oxford, MS (Ole Miss), and Starkville, MS (Mississippi State).

Over the next few weeks, fans can continue to reach out to Lane here to request a show at their favorite college town bar, with a select number of additional spring dates to be announced.

Tickets for Lane’s FIND ANOTHER BAR TOUR: COLLEGE EDITION go on sale Wednesday (1/24) at 10 a.m. CT. For more information and to purchase tickets go to Lane’s website.

April 5: Proud Larry’s – Oxford, MS
April 6: Rick’s Cafe – Starkville, MS

A fuzzed-out Country Rock anthem capturing what it feels like to lose love – and then lose your favorite place to hang – “Find Another Bar” was co-written by Lane with Josh Thompson and Justin Ebach. The Derek Wells-produced track stands as the lead single from his latest EP, From Where I’m Sippin’, which features five fresh-Country concoctions in total – four of which were co-written by Lane.

Billboard’s praised Lane’s musical ability on “Find Another Bar” as “veering slightly from hip-hop infused, polished pop-country to a sound with a ragged rock edge, while still residing squarely in his musical wheelhouse.” And last November, the chart-climbing track’s official music video premiered across CMT, CMT.com, and CMT Music – plus on the Paramount Times Square Billboard. The clip can now be seen across all music video platforms, watch here.
