MATT STELL MEETS HIS MATCH IN “BREAKIN’ IN BOOTS” MUSIC VIDEO

MULTI-PLATINUM hitmaker Matt Stell is entering the ring for a boxing match of love in the official music video for his current single “Breakin’ in Boots” (RECORDS Nashville).

Filmed at Punches n’ Bunches Boxing Studio in Nashville, TN, the Dustin Haney-directed clip shows Stell becoming a part of the retro video game he is playing, and the knockout that broke his heart. Sending out a white-hot romantic warning, “Breakin’ in Boots” is in the Top 5 most-added at Country radio this week with 55 first-week stations nationwide – the most Mediabase adds on impact of his career.

All about a wild heart that can never be tamed, “Breakin’ in Boots” was co-written by Stell with Joe Fox [also serving as producer], Ben Stennis, and Nate Cyphert. Featured in CMTTaste of Country, and named among The Best Country Songs About Boots by HollerCountry Now calls it a “hot new heartbreak anthem,” while American Songwriter further praises, “A heart-thumping beat coupled with glimmering electric guitar and Stell’s smooth vocals make ‘Breakin’ in Boots’ an instant earworm.”

“Breakin’ in Boots” follows Stell’s 2023 EP, One Of Us, and a recent collaboration with Country riser Chase Matthew on the project’s anthemic title track. More new music is promised in 2024.
