MIND ON YOU: TEXAS BREAKOUT GEORGE BIRGE ANNOUNCES DEBUT ALBUM OUT MAY 12

RECORDS Nashville artist George Birge sets his sights on a Country breakout with his debut album, George Birge: Mind On You, fusing gravel-road sagas with edgy passion. Releasing May 12 and available today (4/25) for pre-save/pre-add, the 10-track collection kicks it into high gear for the buzzed-about hitmaker who’s already making an impact, as his potent cocktail of Texas swagger and Music Row polish is creating a coast-to-coast roar.

“This album has been a lifetime in the making. From the experiences and people that have influenced me, to finding my voice and knowing who I am, I couldn’t be prouder of this collection of songs,” shares Birge. “I can’t wait to share them with everyone that has helped me get here.”

An established songwriter since relocating to Nashville, TN, in 2014, the Austin, TX-native’s name is stamped as co-penning almost all of the songs on Mind On You, as it arrives full of white-hot emotional writing, and harrowing tales of young love, broken hearts, and weathered wisdom. Led by a lush, smoky-smooth vocal and a richly textured modern-Country sound, Birge lays out the everyday stories that eventually become life’s defining moments – showcasing a skill which has garnered 30 MILLION streams and counting.

Previewing the full-length project on his five-track 2022 self-titled EP, Birge adds brand-new songs to Mind On You like the heart-pounding romance of “Forever And A Day,” slow-burner “Chasin’ A Feeling,” and the reflective “You Were Mine.” Also featured is his viral smash “Beer Beer, Truck Truck,” that first made noise as a feel-good Country anthem that goes far beyond the clichés. Co-written with Erynn Chambers as bouncy backroad Pop, the tune exploded on TikTok to launch Birge’s solo career, and now helps supercharge his album debut. Likewise, his current Top 50 single and seductive title track is a prominent standout alongside a fresh stripped-down remix. Co-written with Colt Ford, Jaron Boyer, and Michael Tyler, “Mind On You” pairs Hard Rock desire and sexy Electro-energy to create the soundtrack of a night spent under the influence of love. The chart-chasing hit has already made a fan of Bobby Bones, who praised it as one of his “Top 3 Favorite Songs” and proclaimed Birge a “National Spotlight Artist.” Watch the adjoining music video directed by Dustin Haney here.
