Out today on Bad Ass Records, emerging singer-songwriter Landon Parker releases The Acoustic Sessions, Vol 1, a stripped-down sample of his debut EP, Hits Home, released at the end of the year. With his deep traditional Country voice, Parker displays his smoke-and-honey vocals across the four tracks. The project features a mix of classic and cutting-edge Country sounds, all co-written by Parker and produced by GRAMMY Award-winner Blake Chancey (The Chicks’ Wide Open Spaces, Fly).

“We were in the studio working on some new music and during our downtime started jamming on songs from the Hits Home EP. It sounded so cool stripped down that we decided to hit record,” shares Parker. “For me, writing songs always starts with an acoustic guitar, so I love the idea of bringing the songs back there. I’m calling it Volume 1, because I know we’re going to do it again!”

To celebrate the release of The Acoustic Sessions, Vol 1, Parker is inviting his fans and supporters for a FREE concert on February 21 at Ole Red in Nashville, TN. From 6:30pm – 7:30pm, the Country troubadour’s set will feature songs from Hits Home plus more, showing off how he paid his honky-tonk dues with hundreds of shows on Nashville’s vibrant Lower Broadway and beyond. 

As announced on Parker’s socials earlier this week, the North Carolina native is releasing “Your Baby Girl,” the song that he wrote with Matt Nolen and Skip Black and performed at his wedding for his wife, McKenzie, and father-in-law’s first dance. Set to release on March 10, ahead of their two-year wedding anniversary on March 13, the track means even more to him now as a dad to his one-year-old baby girl.

With more new music on deck, Parker’s dynamic stage show has landed him on upcoming high-profile lineups such as Watershed Music Festival on August 5 and more, while earning praise from outlets like American Songwriter, MusicRow, Country Evolution, and others.
