A THOUSAND HORSES HIT HIGHWAY SPEED WITH "ANOTHER MILE," ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM

Four weeks after the surprise release of their Country-Rock anthem "Broken Heartland," A Thousand Horses are back with another cinematic single. This time, they're mixing heartbreak, horsepower, and super-sized hooks into "Another Mile."

Co-written by Bill Satcher, Graham DeLoach, Jacob Powell and produced by A Thousand Horses, "Another Mile" isn't the only new release on the band's horizon. BROKEN HEARTLAND, A Thousand Horses' full-length follow-up to their SOUTHERNALITY debut, arrives on August 26, delivering everything that fans have come to love about the band's chart-topping sound. Rooted in blue-collar charm, amplified attitude, and the southern sound of four road warriors who've covered countless miles together, BROKEN HEARTLAND kicks off a new era for the bandmates, who will release the record on their own record label, Highway Sound.

With an ever-expanding schedule of festival appearances, including their own Southern Wilds Festival in Lawrenceville, GA on September 24, headlining tour dates, and a return to the Grand Ole Opry on August 27, A Thousand Horses are already gearing up to perform their new material live.

"As a band, we always strive to bring fresh energy and spontaneity to our live shows," says frontman Michael Hobby. "Getting to road-test brand new songs for our fans live in concert is one of our favorite ways to mix it up. 'Another Mile' is a perfect example of that. It has been a fan favorite since we debuted it live acoustically on SiriusXM’s The Highway. We immediately began getting requests for it while touring all across the U.S. and the U.K., so we are pumped to get this song out to our fans to listen at home and we can’t wait to continue to play it live for them. The people have spoken and they need 'Another Mile,' as well!"

Having already established themselves as a PLATINUM-selling act during their time on a major label's roster, A Thousand Horses have reclaimed their independence by forming their own record label, Highway Sound. "Another Mileand "Broken Heartlandmark the first two releases on that label. For the members of A Thousand Horses, Highway Sound is more than a label — it's another chance to connect directly with fans.

“We are very excited and proud to announce the launch of our own record label, Highway Sound,” says Bill Satcher. ”Our philosophy as a band is and has always been very simple: ’It’s always about the music first.’ With the creation of Highway Sound, we get to focus on just that, allowing us to continue to create our own brand of Country Rock & Roll that we have always been so passionate about. As creatives, it is absolutely mandatory for us to be in the driver’s seat in everything we do and with Highway Sound, now the pedal is to the floor and this highway sounds damn good.”

"Our fans have supported us since Day One, and we want to put as much new music into their hands as we can," Hobby adds. "That's why we're so excited about releasing music on our own label — music that represents our journey and our story."

Some horses were always meant to run free. With "Another Mile," A Thousand Horses continue to explore their own territory: a place where Heartland Rock, Southern Boogie-Woogie, and amplified Country all meet.

ABOUT A THOUSAND HORSES:
A Thousand Horses made history in June 2015, when the band's "Smoke" became the first debut single for a group to reach No. 1 on the Country Airplay charts in the 2010s. The song went PLATINUM, with the follow-up hit "(This Ain't No) Drunk Dial" also cracking Top 40 success. Both singles appeared on their debut album, SOUTHERNALITY, which reached No. 3 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Over the years that followed, bandmates Michael Hobby, Bill Satcher, Zach Brown, and Graham DeLoach found similar success on the road, touring the country with acts like Jason Aldean and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Reclaiming their independence in 2022, A Thousand Horses has now launched a new chapter of their acclaimed career with releases "Broken Heartland" and “Another Mile” on their own newly announced label, Highway Sound. Continuing to showcase their signature blend of Country music and American Rock & Roll, A Thousand Horses’ highly anticipated sophomore album will release August 26.
