Someone light a match and cover us in / Gasoline,” dares singer/songwriter/actress Hayley Orrantia as a toxic romance goes up in flames in her latest scorcher. Available now through all streaming platforms and digital retailers, listen to “Gasoline” here.

The first co-write Orrantia is releasing with her fiancé Greg Furman, Ben Zelico is also tagged as a co-writer and the producer. “I wrote this song after hearing my fiancé Greg [Furman] say to our friend, ‘It’s hard to burn a bridge when you’re standing on it,’ when referring to an on-again-off-again relationship,” shares Orrantia. “That line sparked the whole concept. My producer Ben [Zelico] had a great idea for the hook that sums up that feeling of a toxic cycle. It was so great to collaborate with my fiancé in this way, especially since we got to shoot the music video together as well.”

Deceptive in its upbeat melody despite its blazing lyrics battling the choke hold of a love gone wrong, the adjoining music video filmed in Los Angeles, CA, further centers around Furman’s line about burning bridges. Directed by Furman and produced by Orrantia, watch as she takes on the lead as viewers are left to question if she’ll finally end the relationship – or ignite the destructive pattern once more.

As one of the most exciting multi-hyphenate talents in the pop culture world today, Orrantia is quickly cementing her place in the music scene while balancing her widely celebrated 10-year role as “Erica Goldberg” on ABC’s The Goldbergs. Most recently, she stunned FOX’s The Masked Singer audience as the runner-up with “powerhouse vocals,” according to Entertainment Weekly. Introducing her lead single “Open Your Mouth” in the season seven finale as the revealed “Ringmaster,” Billboard hails it a “cheeky pop banger,” while American Songwriter praises the “fun, sassy breakup anthem” as it “shows off a whole new side of her songwriting.” Featured in E! News’ The MixtapE! and Entertainment Tonight’s New Music Releases lists, Hollywood Life deems it’s the “Summer 2022 jam you've been waiting for!”

Managed by Jonas Group Entertainment, she’ll next appear at “Disney Night” during the Broadway at the Bourbon Room Hollywood event in Los Angeles, CA, on August 29. Born and raised in Texas, Hayley Orrantia discovered her love of performing at age nine, often hosting impromptu concerts in her bedroom. She soon added songwriting and playing piano to her impressive list of talents, and at age 14 she launched her professional acting career. Within several years she landed her acclaimed role as “Erica Goldberg” on ABC’s hit sitcom The Goldbergs, which was renewed for its tenth season. Her latest acting credits include co-starring with Dermot Mulroney in Amazon/Lionsgate’s 2021 holiday comedy Christmas is Canceled, and she’s simultaneously built a thriving career as a Pop singer-songwriter, delivering hits like recent releases “Gasoline” and “Open Your Mouth,” as well as “Find Yourself Somebody” and “Made for This.” Although working in film, television, and music keeps Orrantia busy, she also buys, flips, and renovates homes alongside her father in Nashville, TN, positioning herself to become a pioneer in the interior design and home renovation market. Currently splitting her time between Nashville, where she writes and records most of her music, and Los Angeles, CA, where she films The Goldbergs, Orrantia proudly calls both cities home.
