RANDY ROGERS BAND SALUTES THE DALLAS COWBOYS WITH "HEART FOR JUST ONE TEAM"

Randy Rogers Band is celebrating the start of football season with their brand-new song, releasing "Heart for Just One Team" today (8/31). The sentimental track is from the Texas Country group's upcoming new album, Homecoming, which will be released on October 14 and can be preordered here

Written by Randy Rogers with John Baumann, "Heart for Just One Team" is a nostalgic reflection centered around football and family. The titular "one team" is the Dallas Cowboys, with Rogers beginning the song by recounting a Cowboys game he attended with his late father as a child. Exploring his father's love for the Cowboys and how it impacted their father-son bond, Rogers reflects back on that life-changing game before sharing that were his father here today, he knows they would still be making Sunday memories together with the Cowboys.

"This song is a tribute to my late father," Rogers shares. "Like many kids out there, our bond was formed through sports. This is a true story of one of my fondest childhood memories."

"Heart for Just One Team" is the third song Randy Rogers Band has shared from Homecoming, following "Nothing But Love Songs" and the project's debut single, "Picture Frames." Homecoming was produced by Radney Foster, who reteamed with Randy Rogers Band after helming their breakout early work.
