Country singer-songwriter Tyler Dial is reminiscing about a long gone romance in new release “Way Back When” via Virgin Music. The nostalgic runner is now available on all streaming platforms and digital retailers.

“‘Way Back When’ feels like the kind of nostalgic, Country songs that I grew up loving on Country radio,” shares Dial. “I remember driving home from the songwriting session in 2019 like it was yesterday, with the windows down and the demo on repeat. I’ve been sitting on this one for a couple years now and whenever I’d get discouraged working side jobs on the weekends, all I had to do was play this song to believe in myself. I am so excited for it to finally be out in the world, and I know the kid with a dream – way back when – would be proud.”

“Girl it’s been too long / But I still hang on / ‘Cause I ain’t felt that way / Since way back when,” muses Dial in the Andy Skib-produced track. Penned by Dial, Adam James, and Logan Wall, “Way Back When” cruises along radio-triggered memories of a one-that-got-away kind of love. Directed by CeCe Dawson, the adjoining visualizer finds Dial’s mind wandering wild while rolling through his hometown of Phoenix, AZ.

For singer-songwriter Tyler Dial, left of center is how he has always felt – listening to Country music while growing up in Arizona; wearing “faded Chuck Taylors” instead of cowboy boots; plus loving the Eagles and The Rolling Stones as much as George Strait and Garth Brooks.
