LILY ROSE BUILDS ON GROUNDBREAKING YEAR, ENTERING 2022 AS ONE TO WATCH

Big Loud / Back Blocks and Republic Records Country artist Lily Rose “continues her hot streak” (SPIN) as she kicks off the New Year with recognition as an Amazon “Artist to Watch in 2022” and Music Row’s “Next Big Thing.”

The singer/songwriter continues to deliver music directly to fans with her latest installment of live videos from her recent debut project, STRONGER THAN I AM. The project’s title track “Stronger Than I Am (Live)” marks the fourth release from Rose’s live series, offering an intimate and stripped-down performance of the song with “a potent blend of vulnerability and strength” (Billboard).

On Thursday, January 13, Rose will join Chris Lane’s FILL THEM BOOTS TOUR, which kicks off its 25 dates at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts. The tour’s opening weekend continues in Huntington, New York’s The Paramount on Friday, January 14 and Wallingford, Connecticut’s The Dome on Saturday, January 15. With her breakout year and debut project STRONGER THAN I AM under her belt, Rose also notched a spot on Billboard’s “Best Country Songs of 2021” list in the No. 8 spot and a May “Rookie of the Month” title. With additional recognition from CMT’s “Listen Up Class of 2022” and “Artist to Watch in 2022” by Amazon, Music Mayhem and Nash News, Rose paves her path to “further country stardom” (Music Row).

ABOUT LILY ROSE:
Words like “groundbreaking” and “trailblazing” are often overused. But for Big Loud Records / Back Blocks Music and Republic Records Country star Lily Rose, they may actually be an understatement. The modern expression of Country’s most treasured ideal – pure, unflinching honesty – her debut hit “Villain” has revealed Rose as a talent both 100-percent unique and utterly relatable, with a fresh perspective and forward-looking sound. A Georgia native whose inspirations range from Bruce Springsteen to Keith Urban and Katy Perry, Rose broke out in 2020 with the viral smash, “Villain.” Both vulnerable and defiant with a boundary pushing Country-meets-R&B sound, the track hit Number One on the iTunes all-genre chart and SiriusXM's The Highway Hot 30 Weekend Countdown, leading to her new, ten-song project, STRONGER THAN I AM. With her focus firmly on integrity, Rose’s bold mix of personal lyricism and distinctive language meets the hooky sonics of a post-genre fanbase, as pure-Country confessions merge with Hip-Hop beats and R&B flow – plus representation where there was none before. All told, it gives new credence to her “groundbreaking” label.
