RANDY ROGERS BAND CAPPING OFF A MAJOR YEAR WITH NEW HONOR FOR RANDY ROGERS

Texas Country mainstays Randy Rogers Band have had a big year in 2021, capping off their calendar with a notable honor for frontman Randy Rogers, who was selected as the honorary Grand Marshal of the 2022 Texas Cavaliers River Parade.

The annual event will take place on April 4 and this year's theme is “Texas Alfresco,” or “Texas Outdoors," which will be on display via the floats and decorations. “There’s never been a better time to celebrate our Texas outdoor quality of life and education for children and our community than during these challenging times,” Rogers said at a press conference when the honor was announced.

In September, Rogers had another personal achievement to celebrate when he launched his new whiskey brand, Bahnbrëcker, the world's first Hefeweizen-style whiskey. The drink was inspired by an ideal Texas summer day spent floating down the river in New Braunfels, Texas and can be found in select Texas venues and retail establishments with nationwide shipping available.

Rogers and bandmates Geoffrey Hill (guitar), Jon Richardson (bass guitar), Brady Black (fiddle), Les Lawless (drums), and Todd Stewart (guitar, fiddle, mandolin, keyboards), are currently on the road, traveling the country supporting Cody Jinks and with a series of headline shows extending into January 2022. That month, the group will headline The MusicFest (1/7) and Mile 0 Fest (1/28) and will share the stage with George Strait and Willie Nelson for a two-night stint in Austin, Texas on April 29 and April 30.

Randy Rogers Band’s latest road run is concurrent with the release of their most recent single, “Picture Frames,” which arrived in October and is currently in the Top 10 on the Texas Country Music Chart. Written by Rogers with Drew Kennedy and produced by hit Country songwriter and artist Radney Foster, the "timeless song of enduring love" (Billboard) finds the group reminiscing about fond memories they’ve shared with the one they love while looking at photos on a smartphone.

“Picture Frames” is the first taste of music from the band’s upcoming album, which is due in the spring and will celebrate Randy Rogers Band’s 20th anniversary. The as-yet-unannounced project will follow the group’s eighth studio album, 2019’s HELLBENT.
