LOCASH PARTNERS WITH MTN DEW FOR “WOODS OR WATER” GETAWAY

Inspired by their WOODS & WATER – EP out Friday (11/5), chart-topping BBR Music Group/BMG’s Wheelhouse Records’ rowdy outliers LOCASH are teaming up with MTN DEW to reward fans who explore the great outdoors, including a Woods Or Water Getaway and a newly-launched Spotify playlist. Adding to the brand’s national Dew Outdoors campaign, fans have until November 19 to win “Get Out and Do” prizes like the Woods OR Water Getaway of their choice (valued at almost $10,000), and two tickets to a 2022 LOCASH concert. Additional prizes include a 2022 Ford F-150, a yearly supply of DEW, and more! Influenced by their childhoods – Chris Lucas grew up in Baltimore, MD, on the water and Preston Brust, a PK (preacher’s kid), was raised in Kokomo, IN, by way of Arkansas and surrounded by nature – WOODS & WATER – EP represents both. With five fresh tracks – each one penned by at least one member of the duo – the adventurous and carefree collection bobs on LOCASH’s high-energy twang, along with lyrics that capture their signature big picture optimism and penchant for living large in a small town. Notching noteworthy co-writers like The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson and Mike Love, plus key Nashville tunesmiths such as Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip, and Chris LaCorte, Corey Crowder (Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young) is tagged as the main producer, with additional production by Clint Lagerberg.
