PILGRIMAGE MUSIC & CULTURAL FESTIVAL TEAMS UP WITH LOCAL FITNESS STUDIOS TO BRING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER

Continuing to cater to their eclectic fan-base, Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival today announces a series of partnerships with local fitness studios to bring together music from this year’s diverse lineup and the local community.

Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival was inspired by friendship, history, experience, and the desire to create an authentic music festival. One of the festival’s founders, Kevin Griffin of the popular band Better Than Ezra and a Franklin, TN resident, was inspired to launch this festival on a morning run through The Park at Harlinsdale.

“Partnering with the community’s fitness staples is another example of innovative ways that Pilgrimage strives to reach a new audience of music lovers," explains Griffin. “Each year we aim to cater to new groups to drive home that Pilgrimage really is for everybody.”

Last Wednesday (9/1), Barre3 Brentwood launched a four-week series “Pilgrimage to THE PILGRIMAGE” leading up to the annual festival. Every Wednesday evening in September at 5:30pm, Barre3 Brentwood will host a 60-minute classic Barre3 class with heart-pumping movement to special playlists curated from this year’s Pilgrimage lineup. With the series finale to be hosted outdoors at One Franklin Park in Franklin, TN, the experience will be like none other. As a bonus for participating, each attendee will be entered to win a pair of weekend passes. Sign up HERE.

In addition to Barre3, Barry’s Nashville in the Gulch will be hosting a Pilgrimage Music Festival themed class to kick off their Spirit Week on Monday, September 13th at 6:40pm. Following class, there will celebratory beverages for their clients to enjoy. Sign up HERE

Full Ride Cycling is putting the pedal to the metal with a themed ride in celebration of the festival this Friday, 9/10 at 12pm where the community will come together to dance on the bikes to songs from the star-studded Pilgrimage lineup. Sign up HERE.

As Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival continues its efforts to support the local Franklin and middle Tennessee community, there will be more fitness partners to announce in weeks to come.

Produced by Better Than Ezra frontman and Franklin resident Kevin Griffin, alongside W. Brandt Wood and Michael Whelan, Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will host 50+ acts across five stages with Dave Matthews Band, The Black Keys, Maren Morris, and Cage The Elephant as headliners.

Limited two-day GA tickets and VIP passes are on sale at PilgrimageFestival.com.
