BRIAN KELLEY’S CINEMATIC “BOAT NAMES” MUSIC VIDEO SETS SAIL ON CMT MUSIC

Basking in a SUNSHINE STATE OF MINDCMT Music is airing chill-Country superstar Brian Kelley’s cinematic “Boat Names” music video today (8/6). Premiering first in the 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT hour and again tonight during the 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT hour, the Country music channel is also supporting three other clips of Kelley’s in rotation including “Beach Cowboy,” “Party On The Beach,” and “Sunday Service In The Sand.”

SUNSHINE STATE OF MIND starts out with ‘Boat Names’ – my favorite song on the album and the very first one I wrote for it,” shares Kelley. “It’s the anchor and guiding light for this project. And it’s a love song and dedication to my love, Brittney.”

Directed by Bethany Ashton Wolf and produced by Lighthouse Films and Free To Be a Filmmaker Entertainment, the 9-minute mini-movie was inspired by the beautiful real-life love story of Kelley and his wife Brittney. With passion rising like the tide and lost-in-the-sunset-style footage, the full-length clip was filmed on the Kelleys’ “Brittney Marie” boat off the coast of Miramar Beach, FL, capturing an innocent childhood meet-cute that lasts in a forever kind of love.

Sailing on “plenty of tracks perfect for whatever summer vacation you find yourself on” (E! News), “easy on the ears” (MusicRow) romantic devotion “Boat Names” – penned by Brian Kelley, Parker Welling, and Casey Brown – is featured on the Diamond-selling artist’s solo debut, SUNSHINE STATE OF MIND, via Warner Music Nashville / Nashville South Records, Inc. Welcoming fans to a “Beach Cowboy” way-of-life, listen here.

Recently performing with his Florida Georgia Line partner Tyler Hubbard at benefit concert, TOGETHER: FEEDING NASHVILLE, at FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, TN, in support of Hubbard and his wife Hayley, co-founders of nonprofit Feeding Nashville, fans can tune in tomorrow (8/7) to see Kelley and Hubbard chat with CMT Hot 20 Countdown host Cody Alan backstage (9 a.m. ET/8 a.m. CT). ABOUT BRIAN KELLEY:
Best known as the Florida half of the record-setting superstar duo Florida Georgia Line, Ormond Beach-native Brian Kelley is now embarking on a sandy solo adventure. Making a splash with debut album, SUNSHINE STATE OF MIND, the chill-Country champion is capturing his lifelong connection to the Florida coast. Co-writing and co-producing the project alongside Corey Crowder for an elevated version of his typical party-ready FGL energy, the set matches Kelley’s anything-goes ethos with a new sunshine-Country strut, as a partnership between Warner Music Nashville and Kelley’s Nashville South Records, Inc. It’s the latest piece of a creative empire which has already made Kelley and his FGL partner, Tyler Hubbard, one of the best-selling Country duos in history, and true business moguls. Alongside a chart-topping catalog that includes 2020’s LIFE ROLLS ON (BMLG Records), 19 career #1 hits, and being the only act to achieve two RIAA DIAMOND-certified singles in Country music history (“Cruise” and “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha), the pair maintain thriving business initiatives in addition like FGL House, meet + greet, Round Here Records, Tree Vibez Music, Old Camp Whiskey, and Wolf Moon Bourbon (with Jason Aldean), plus a reputation as electrifying, stadium-thrilling headline performers. Diversifying his enterprise, Kelley is also hands-on with projects like upcoming musical and feature film, both titled “MAY WE ALL” with his production company CuzBro Productions; cult-favorite brand Tribe Kelley with wife Brittney; and a partnership with Oyster City Brewing Company.
