ASHLAND CRAFT STILL KEEPS IN TOUCH WITH HER EXES’ MOMMAS

You don’t even call me saying you’re sorry / And you messed up / But your momma still does,” hits Big Loud Records spitfire Ashland Craft with a sucker-punch to the heart in new release, “Your Momma Still Does,” available now. Ringing off the hook of her 11-track debut, TRAVELIN’ KIND, album producer Jonathan Singleton wrote the momma-knows-best comeback with Jenna LaMaster.

“‘Your Momma Still Does’ was one of the first songs that Jonathan [Singleton] and Jenna [LaMaster] ever wrote together, and when I first heard it, I instantly connected with the message. Thankfully I’ve always had a good relationship with my exes' mothers – during and after the relationship – and I feel like this song captures that perspective perfectly,” shares Craft. “Jonathan [Singleton] and Jenna [LaMaster] are such amazing storytellers, and I’m so thankful they gave me a shot at tellin’ this one!”

Now the second drop off Craft’s highly-anticipated project, the first release “Make It Past Georgia” made Entertainment Tonight’s New Music Releases list and was dubbed MusicRow DISClaimer's DisCovery Award raving, “She kicks up some serious dust with a sandpapery delivery of this fierce heartache-on-the-road scorcher.” With critics all agreeing, “Crank it up, and let her wail” (MusicRow), Whiskey Riff praised the “Good Old Fashioned Country Heartbreak Song,” while Country Swag hailed, “Craft is a true artist in every sense of the word!” Watch the memory-fueled “Make It Past Georgia” music video here.

The “fiery singer” (Country Now) is bringing her 17 miles-per-gallon way of life to the stage, as she kicked off Zac Brown Band’s THE COMEBACK TOUR 2021 last night (8/5) at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ. Supporting this weekend at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY (8/6), and iconic Fenway Park in Boston, MA (8/8), find all upcoming tour dates here.
