CMT EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: ALANA SPRINGSTEEN TRADES HEARTBREAK FOR A LAKE DAY IN “ZERO TRUCKS” MUSIC VIDEO

Premiering exclusively with CMT today (7/23), emerging artist-songwriter Alana Springsteen is floating all her worries away in the free-and-easy music video for kiss-off Country bop, “Zero Trucks.” Airing throughout the day on CMT Music – CMT’s 24/7 music video channel, watch now on CMT.com.

Credited as co-writer, co-producer, and acoustic guitarist, Springsteen wrote the upbeat mood-booster with Walker Hayes and Joe Clemmons, plus tacked production alongside Jerry Flowers and Jared Keim. “Giving ‘zero trucks’ about what’s next for her in love and life, it’s a refreshing and carefree song perfectly aimed at overcoming the bummer of summer romance gone wrong,” raves CMT

Singing “my good time’s overdue,” Springsteen gets over the breakup with a rowdy day on the water alongside friends in the fun-in-the-sun clip. Directed by David Bradley and filmed on-location on J. Percy Priest Lake and at Shipwreck Cove at Elm Hill Marina in Nashville, TN, Springsteen shared with CMT, “There’s nothing more calming to me than being near the water. In coming up with the concept for this video, I started thinking about where I would want to be and who I’d want to be with if I was going through a hard time, and that’s exactly what you see in the video.”

Critics are all about the good vibes only anthem with E! News’ The MixtapE! hailing, “If Carrie Underwood's ‘Before He Cheats’ was your jam in 2005, meet your next obsession—with a more mature message about moving on.” Likewise featured in Entertainment Tonight’s New Music Releases list, Country Now further dubbed it, “Destined to be the breakup song of Summer 2021.”

Fans can hear “Zero Trucks” and more as Springsteen performs next Friday (7/30) on the Next From Nashville stage at Watershed Music and Camping Festival in George, WA. Find additional event details here.

ABOUT ALANA SPRINGSTEEN:
For 20-year-old emerging artist-songwriter Alana Springsteen, it’s always been about storytelling. “She writes with beyond-her-years poise,” Rolling Stone praises, “mixing the lovestruck giddiness of a teenager with the hooks of a pro.” Picking up the guitar at seven and writing her first song by age nine, the Virginia Beach native felt the pull of Music City with every new lyric she wrote, making an official move at 14 and landing a publishing deal almost immediately. Recently releasing kiss-off “Zero Trucks,” summertime stunner “California,” and got-to-have-you anthem “Trying Not To (feat. Roman Alexander),” Pandora's 2021 Country Artist to Watch has surpassed 35 MILLION on-demand streams in just over a year and amassed 670 playlist adds. “Alana Springsteen is a name you'll want to know in country music,” hails PEOPLE, as she’s set to blaze her own trail in honor of the iconic Country women she grew up listening to – Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, and Taylor Swift. Signed to Eighteen Company in partnership with SB Projects for management, represented by UTA, and publishing with Warehouse West Entertainment, Springsteen is also Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s newest Celebrity Ambassador.
