LILY ROSE DROPS REACTIVE NEW SONG, "KNOW MY WAY AROUND" AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE TODAY

Groundbreaking Music Row “Discovery Artist of the Year” nominee Lily Rose releases her new song “Know My Way Around,” out now. Penned by Rose, Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Jason Derulo and Thomas Rhett) and Savana Santos, “Know My Way Around” captures the adventurous feeling of a new fling she wants to get to know. Released via Big Loud Records / Back Blocks Music and Republic Records, the new release is accompanied by a lyric video that goes behind-the-scenes of the song recorded at Ocean Way Nashville.

With a voice tapped as “extraordinarily compelling” by Music Row, the singer explores the curious feeling of meeting someone for the first time. Naming the things she knows like the back of her hand – from every backroad in her hometown, how to play guitar to having a good time – the one thing that’s missing is someone new that caught her eye.

“We knew it was special the day we wrote ‘Know My Way Around.’ There’s something so hooky about that chorus and the beat that draws you right in,” shares Rose. “Hell, I listen to the song nonstop like it’s not my own!”

“Know My Way Around” marks the fourth label release from the singer who has notched 57M on-demand streams. As she gears up to join Chris Lane’s FILL THEM BOOTS TOUR this fall, Rose “continued her hot streak” (Spin) by building on the momentum she has gained in 2021: making her debut at Country radio, releasing new songs “Overnight Sensation,” “Remind Me of You,” and now with “Know My Way Around.” “With the vocal presence and writing talents that make her poised to take her career to the next level” (CMT), Rose will make appearances at numerous festivals including Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, Night in the Country Carolinas and more throughout the remainder of the year.

ABOUT LILY ROSE:
Touting an identifiable sound described as contemporary, vulnerable and raw, Lily Rose is breaking new ground in the Nashville music scene with her new single, "Villain." On Dec. 1, 2020, Rose posted a clip of "Villain," a song about a break-up she believed ended cordially, only to find out she'd been painted as the 'bad guy' through social media. The song connected significantly with fans, and two weeks later Rose independently released "Villain" on Dec. 15. The single immediately rocketed to the top of the iTunes all-genre chart, where it held steady at No.1 above Taylor Swift's latest releases for several days and remained in the iTunes Top 30 for five consecutive weeks. One week after the release of "Villain," SiriusXM The Highway added the explosive track to full rotation.

Rose's reactive single "Villain" caught the attention of Big Loud Records / Back Blocks Music and Republic Records who signed her to a joint-venture record deal in Jan. 2021. Rose grew up in Atlanta as a self-taught drummer and guitarist but it wasn't until high school that she discovered her voice. As an athlete and distinguished singer, Rose had to decide which avenue to pursue. Bar sets and cover shows in her college town of Athens, GA led to headlining and sold out shows across Athens, Atlanta, Nashville and NYC, prompting her to make the move to Nashville in 2017. Her musical influences range from Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and Bruce Springsteen to Katy Perry reflecting her innate ability to adopt a "futuristic" 21st century country sound. She currently resides in Nashville where she continues to write and record new music with a focus on melody and hook driven songwriting style, which has proven to resonate among country, pop and rock alike.
