The accolade adds to an already stellar week for Barrett, with her current single “The Good Ones” reigning #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. This marks the first time a female artist has sent her first two singles to #1 on the chart since 2012. The track is Top-5-and-climbing on the Country radio airplay charts, and has amassed 230 MILLION+ global streams.
Barrett is stacking up more RIAA heavy metal, with “The Good Ones” officially certified PLATINUM, and her debut album
GOLDMINE striking GOLD. Her chart-topping breakout single “I Hope” remains a fan-favorite, now 5X PLATINUM.
As announced yesterday, Barrett scored four nominations at the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Awards, claiming her place as the most-nominated Country artist. She’ll vie for
Best New Country Artist and
Country Song of the Year for “I Hope”, plus the all-genre
Best Collaboration and
Best Lyrics for “I Hope” featuring Charlie Puth. The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards will air live on FOX from The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 27 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET.
Celebrating her
New Female Artist of the Year win, Barrett will take the stage to perform at the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards airing Sunday, April 18 at 8:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM CT on CBS, and contend for
