MACKENZIE PORTER FLASHES BACK WITH "THESE DAYS"

Big Loud Records up-and-comer MACKENZIE PORTER reminisces on those days in the official “These Days” music video, out now. Directed by Tyler Conrad, the nostalgia-inducing clip spotlights Porter reflecting at the piano, while vignettes of a love lost are projected around her. The upbeat track features wistful lyrics – penned by Porter, Jordan Sapp and Parker Welling – throwing it back to a ’98 Chevrolet, old-school Country, dive bars and matching tattoos.

Ranking as the #2 Canadian Country song on the Shazam Top 200, “These Days” has already racked up more than 2 MILLION global streams. Meanwhile, Porter has accumulated nearly 9 MILLION total streams on her catchy new music in only nine months. Doubling down on her songwriting skills, Porter has co-written with some of Nashville’s most acclaimed songwriters including Nicolle Galyon, Natalie Hemby and Craig Wiseman. She has shared the stage as an opener for superstar acts including Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and more.

Porter continues to heat up the Country music scene north of the border, as “These Days” climbs into the Top 20 on the Canadian Country Airplay Charts. She notched her first #1 in May 2019 with “About You,” making her one of seven Canadian female artists to reach #1 on the Billboard Country chart in 25 years. Currently on the road for her first-ever Canadian tour, she continues on the FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS TOUR ALONE TOUR with Dallas Smith and Dean Brody through October, and recently joined her tour mates on stage as a performer and presenter at the 2019 CCMA Awards Show broadcast.
