FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE INVADES THE INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY WITH FGL FEST

Global entertainers FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE have elevated their larger-than-life onstage performances from in-demand headliners of massive arenas, stadiums, and their Las Vegas residency, to hosting their own music festival at Indiana’s Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) with FGL Fest on Saturday (9/7). With over 25,000 fans inside Turn 4 of the historic track, the multi-act bill featured BLANCO BROWNNELLYDAN + SHAYCANAAN SMITHPAYTON SMITH, and MITCHELL TENPENNY.

Bringing glimpses of hot-ticketed 2019 CAN’T SAY I AIN’T COUNTRY TOUR to the infield, FGL “charged out of the gate with enjoyable rural swagger,” applauded The Indianapolis Star. Racing with a set-list supercharged with songs off their GOLD-certified CAN’T SAY I AIN’T COUNTRY (BMLG Records), they also included their new single, “Blessings,” next up at Country radio. In addition, DYLAN SCHNEIDER (“Y’all Boys”), DAN + SHAY (“H.O.L.Y.”), CANAAN SMITH (“Get Your Shine On”), and NELLY (“Cruise”), joined in as special guests on a handful of hits.

“We took a look out here tonight and we feel so blessed – so thankful to be able to do what we love every night… to be able to connect and party with you guys,” FGL’s Tyler Hubbard shared onstage. “We’ve learned over the last couple of years that no matter who you are, where you’re at, what’s going on in your life, we can all look around and find something to be thankful for – find some kind of blessing in our lives. And today was a reminder of that.”

Yesterday (9/8), FGL continued to bring their anything-goes vibes to IMS, calling drivers to their cars as grand marshals of the Big Machine 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line. Excitement is already building for next year, with the high-octane racing event plus namesake concert moving to Fourth of July weekend in 2020.
