HOME FREE’S DIVE BAR SAINTS ALBUM IS OUT NOW

With a ramped-up countdown that included a multitude of video teasers, packed-out tour stops and a major TV appearance on NBC’s TODAY with Hoda and JennaHOME FREE’s fifth studio album, DIVE BAR SAINTS (Home Free Records), has finally arrived. Continuing the release week celebrations, the acclaimed all-vocal group will head to Minneapolis on Sunday (9/8) to help kick off the Minnesota Vikings’ season opener against the Atlanta Falcons with a performance of the National Anthem.

The 12-track project serves as a turning point in the all vocal quintet’s career, as it features 10 original songs – more than ever before – with band members AUSTIN BROWN (high tenor) and TIM FOUST (bass) among writing credits. Along with these new tracks, the dynamic release also includes a stirring take of “Go Rest High on That Mountain” (Vince Gill) and a spiritual rendition of “Take Me Home, Country Roads” (John Denver).

To make the day even more special, Home Free has also just released the thought-provoking video for “Lonely Girl’s World,” one of two original tunes co-penned by Austin Brown on DIVE BAR SAINTS. Written by Brown, Steven Martinez and Ava Suppelsa, the song tells the story of a girl who realizes her worth, leaving a toxic relationship behind to find what she deserves. Under the direction of Chris St. Croix and produced by ACM-nominated April Kimbrell, the accompanying video mirrors this narrative, while also intertwining the ongoing storyline with gripping moments of empowerment.

“This song is particularly special to me because it didn’t happen overnight. I actually started writing it three or four years ago and always ended up feeling like it could be better. It took rewriting and updating the lyrics several times before I felt like it was complete,” says Brown. “With such an important message, I wanted it to be perfect… For all the ladies out there – always remember that you deserve the world. Never settle for anything less than that.”

Taking their new music on the road, the quintet’s DIVE BAR SAINTS WORLD TOUR is set to begin on September 18, hitting 16 countries with over 100 shows through October 2020. The group has also lined up a holiday trek, closing out 2019 in a festive way on their DIVE BAR CHRISTMAS TOUR.
